It's been about two months of torture with Kai when it happened. We were walking home from school together, and he was about to turn onto his street. Before he turned, he stopped. " Rose, can I ask you something?" I looked back, and smiled."Anything! What is it?" Then he started blushing, and I thought, this is it! Not even thinking to read his mind like I've done way to many times before, he finally spoke again. "Will you... be my girlfriend?" My heart felt like it was soaring, and it has actually done that before, and I practically flew into his arms and kissed him. "About time you asked, you idiot."
